Nate has over 15 years of professional maritime experience and has hawsepiped his way to a 3rd Mate Unlimited Endorsement with full STCW compliance. He is a proud veteran of the NOAA Commissioned Corps.
Brian is a web application engineer who cares about making experiences intuitive and visually appealing for a wide audience of users. Brian’s husband is a sea going NOAA officer bent on exploring all that is possible.
Zac is a systems engineer, operations and test engineer, full stack developer, and machine learning data scientist. Zac and Lindsay worked together on the 137’ Gaff rigged Schooner Bill of Rights in 2012.
Lindsay Hennes is USCG Licensed Captain with over 10 years of maritime experience, most recently driving ferries in San Francisco Bay. She holds a Master’s degree in GIS from the University of Southern California, and is interested in analysis and visualization of ocean datasets. Nate and Lindsay worked together on the 137’ Gaff rigged Schooner Bill of Rights in 2011.
Kristen Mattern has worked in Government Affairs and Public Policy for the last 10 years. She has developed the cohesive strategy between numerous large scale initiatives that are shaping the current way Americans live their lives. Nate and Kristen met in Washington DC and bonded over solving large scale policy issues for search and rescue.
Jesse Reich is an aerospace engineer, full stack developer, and machine learning data scientist. Nate and Jesse met working together at the largest search and rescue system in the world responsible for maritime and land based rescues.
Sarah Hirsch is USCG Licensed Captain.
Sam Mckay is a NOAA Corps Veteran working on his PhD in Nuclear Fusion.
